This is the simple truth – our democracy relies on all of us.

I created Democratee to reinforce that message to all Americans.

Democracy isn’t a nice to have. It requires our active participation, protection and belief.

It’s also not a pick and choose adventure. There are four pillars to a functioning democracy, and all of them need our active support.

This isn’t about what political party you belong to. Democracy literally requires multiple political parties. It also requires a separation of powers, an impartial judiciary, and a free and independent media. 

We’re in an unprecedented moment. Established democratic norms and institutions are under assault, and marshalling our collective defense is the only way forward.  

Will buying a t-shirt be the answer? No. But wearing one will send a visible, public signal to those in your community where you stand.

All proceeds generated beyond operating costs will go directly to organizations explicitly supporting democratic institutions.

Democracy – love it or lose it.
